Bridge Development Network is a non-governmental organization (NGO) established on the 1st of August, 2011, but registered under the Companies Act, 1963, (Act 179) as A Company Limited by Guarantee (NGO) on 3rd October 2014 in Ghana.
Bridge Development Network undertakes projects in communities, to enhance the total quality of life for all people in all spheres. These projects/programs are in areas of water access, sanitation and hygiene, health, education and training, disability, poverty alleviation, and other social intervention programs.
To serve as a link to development for the betterment of lives.
To improve the total well-being of lives of people in communities.
To improve water access, sanitation, and hygiene in communities
To promote health in areas such as maternal health, malaria, cholera, HIV/AIDS, and Tuberculosis
To advocate for basic education and training for children and young people
To facilitate the training and developmental skills of the youth for employable opportunities
To implement projects/programs to boost agriculture and lives of people engage in agricultural related business
To implement social intervention programs for the poor, disadvantaged, marginalized, the socially and economically deprived people
The overall aim of Bridge Development Network is to undertake projects in communities that will enhance the total quality of life for all people in all spheres. In summary, Bridge Development Network is committed to The Eight Millennium Development Goals, which are:
- to eradicate extreme poverty and hunger;
- to achieve universal primary education;
- to promote gender equality and empower women;
- to reduce child mortality;
- to improve maternal health;
- to combat HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other diseases;
- to ensure environmental sustainability; and
- to develop a global partnership for development.
